Who this is for

The full admission ticket suits any visitor who doesn't qualify for the reduced rate. Travelling as an EU citizen aged 18–25, or with a visitor under 18? The reduced ticket applies instead — choose it in the booking widget and carry the required ID.

On the day

The theatre sits at the top of Taormina's old town, a short but uphill walk from Corso Umberto. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water in summer, and allow about an hour for the visit, longer if you want to linger over the view of Etna. Opening hours are typically 09:00–19:45 daily, last entry 19:00 — the Antiquarium museum and the Goethe Trail are currently closed.

Frequently asked

Do I need to visit at a specific time?
No — your ticket is date-specific, not time-specific. Enter and explore freely any time during opening hours on your chosen date.
How do I receive it?
As a mobile ticket with a QR code by email once confirmed — nothing to print.
How long does the visit take?
About an hour, though many visitors linger longer for the view of Mount Etna and the coast.
Is Isola Bella included?
No — Isola Bella is a separate site with its own ticket. This covers the Ancient Theatre only.
